Description
Epoxy resin, due to its main qualities of adhesiveness, resistance to loads and chemical resistance, has a variety of applications.
Properties
Adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, excellent chemical resistance, excellent mechanical resistance, low level of curing shrinkage, easy to apply, easy to maintain and clean. The addition of fillers (e.g. silica) and pigments allows the preparation of specific mortars with wide application in industry and decoration.
Composition
Two-component liquid epoxy resin sold in pre-dosed quantities: epoxy resin (component A) and curing agent (component B).
Support
Cementitious screeds.
Suitable for various applications: bridging between concrete slabs; Flooring: self-leveling, decorative, thin layer, non-slip, sanitary, industrial; Surface sealants; Crack repair; Anchors.
Application instructions
Primepoxy is a two-component product that is mixed at the time of application. The mixture is made by adding component B (curing agent) to component A (resin) and mixing by hand or with a slow stirrer. It is recommended that the container be mixed completely to avoid partial dosage errors. Primepoxy can be applied by brush, spread with a spatula, applied with a roller in the case of sealing, for example, and injected or poured in the case of cracks, for example. Whenever there are relatively large spaces to be regularized (wide cracks, concrete restoration), silica sand can be mixed with the resin. It is recommended to pay attention to the workability time of the resin, application should be quick.
